This is Alfredo Rodriguez, the amazing western artist who has a style all his own. A few years back, we were in Wyoming together (along with Steven Lang and Don Oelze) on a photo shoot. He loved this hat we were using in the shoot, and I asked him to give me his best game face. I've wanted to do a drawing of this look since then, and finally I was able to get around to it. He's the nicest guy you'd ever meet, but this look showed me he could look tough when he needed to. I changed his coat from zipper to buttons and turned him into a free grazer, a cowman who lived a nomadic lifestyle, before fences cut up the open range, and never knew where the next threat would come frome.... maybe from you?
