The idea for Springtime in Prescott was started at the historic Yavapai Courthouse Plaza on May 16, 2016.  Here, Steve walks with County Supervisor Craig Brown and Dennis Gallagher - Founder/CEO Prescott Western Heritage Foundation.  Craig wanted a painting that blended Prescott's past and present.  People in historic clothing in front of the Yavapai Courthouse, walking and talking just like people do today.  The trees are mature, whereas they would have been saplings in Springtime of 1916.
