Comments:

One of the many things I love about living in Prescott is the abundance of wildlife in general, and the pronghorn in particular. There are herds of these wonderful animals grazing all around the area and can be seen up close (well... up close for pronghorn anyways) on most days. This is just a drawing of a magnificent buck, which can be identified by the prominent pronged horns. Females only have shorter horns and often they're barely visible. And the males have a dark patch along their throat, while the females don't.

I've been doing smaller paintings and more drawings for my hometown's 2016 Phippen Western Art Show and Sale coming up on Memorial Day weekend, at the courthouse in downtown Prescott, AZ. I'll have lot's of smaller paintings and drawings on display and for sale. Stop by and visit Ann and me if you're in the neighborhood.
