Comments:

When I go to the rodeo, I always get there at least an hour early so I can go to the warm up pen. You can see so much that the general public doesn't get to see. This is where the competitors go to warm up their horses and get set to compete. Also, you see a lot of cowboys and cowgirls tending their horses, saddling up and getting to visit with each other to catch up. I felt very honored to get to witness the sight of this father pinning the number on his son who was competing for the first time. You only had to look at them before and after the pinning to see how proud they both were that the day had finally arrived that they had looked forward to, and worked toward, for so long.
