Comments:

At the turn of the century, arguably there was no one better known than "Buffalo Bill" Cody across the globe. A former soldier, bison hunter that helped to feed the army and railroad workers, and self proclaimed Indian fighter. But he will always be known first and foremost, as the man who brought the Wild West to audiences across the United States and Europe. In his life he met Popes, Kings and Presidents. He fed the people's nearly insatiable hunger for stories of the West. Calamity Jane and Sitting Bull are just two of the famous people that toured with his traveling show. PT Barnum was A Showman, but Buffalo Bill Cody was THE Showman.

"The Showman" was juried into the prestigious 2014 Salon International Museum Show in San Antonio, TX.

Advertised in the June 2014 Western Art Collector magazine on page 21.
